Elemental Reactions

  • Vaporize's Steam deals aoe damage
  • Overloads damage (electro->pyro) now deals x1.5 (pyro) damage
  • Overloads damage (pyro->electro) now deals x2 (pyro) damage.
  • Overload's knockback decreased significantly
  • Superconduct's damage (electro->cryo) now deals 2x (cryo) damage
  • Superconduct's damage (cryo->electro) now deals 1.5x (cryo) damage
  • Superconduct's negative armor debuff is moved to Melt
  • Melt gains the negative armor debuff due to the sudden temperature change, making surfaces brittle.
  • Melt damage consequently reduced. (pyro->hydro) at x1.4% , (hydro->pyro) at x1.8%
  • Geo New Reaction : Smoldering Rock or something (pyro->geo)(reverse not applicable) deals x0.3 (pyro damage) on top of crystallize
  • Geo New Reaction : Mud or something (hydro->geo)(geo->hydro) deals x0.1 (geo damage) on top of crystallize, slows enemy movement
  • Geo New Reaction : Snow or something (hydro->geo)(reverse not applicable) deals x0.2 (cryo damage) on top of crystallize, slows enemy attack speed
  • Geo New Reaction : Seeds or something (dendro->geo) deals x0.1 (dendro damage) on top of crystallize, restores 3% of your hp. Or entangle. Prevents enemy movement (can still attacc and cast spells)

Enemies

  • Enemies inside domains and abyss have their return-to-spawn-point-then-regenerate-to-full-health disabled.
  • Enemy AI a bit smarter. Those with mobility skills (whopper, smol geovishap, cycin mages) won't follow you to drown in the water. The game will not check if you are wet , but if you are in a swimming state.
  • Enemies attack cycle improve. Fixed bug when enemies stop attacking. Baedou Problems.
  • Hydro Abyss Mage's and Hydro Fatui Gunner's Hydro Barrier now takes the same damage rate/ratio from opposing elements (cryo, electro) for consistency.
  • Hydro barrier new opposing element : Geo. It makes it harder to maintain the water shield due to the mud soaking up the water and adding weight.
  • Boss Childe's Spirit Whale Attack generates water in the sides of the arena, pushing you towards the center. You must have enough stamina to keep dashing to the sides before he does this, or you will have to perfectly dodge the spirit whale attack.
  • Hydro SamaChurl now heals at a rate of +300/HoT per AR Milestone instead of percentage. This is for when you are hunting a LawaChurl Bounty that is near dead and healed to full health in 3 seconds. Having a fixed amount of healing ensures that it is big enough for the intended smaller enemies and portionally good enough for large enemies. The other option is to use different healing ratios for small and large enemies.
  • Queen of Pain , I mean Cycin Mages have a stagger window when they are about to cast their almost-undispellable shield
  • Zed , I mean Shadow Fatui Agent makes use of his shadows to dodge your attack sometimes.
  • Smol Geo Vishap now drops less geo shields
  • Smol Geo Vishap now uses his rolling attack near you, not 150m away from you.
  • Smol Geo Vishap now burrows a bit less frequently
  • Ruin Hunter doesn't stay in the air up and raining artillery forever , in consideration of bowless comps
  • Fatui Cryo and Hydro Gunner Turn Rate Reduced by 10% when on Spray Mode.
  • Primo GeoVishap now has a tired/exhausted animation, instead of standing still and looking at you and what life could have been for 10 seconds.
  • Primo GeoVishap spin attack now has a 0.2 dodge window (previously none) and Spin Radius Decreased by 100m.

Characters

  • Dvalin's Cutscene when you dispel his barrier is removed and much smoother. He just falls in place and no clipping.
  • Character's "Main Stat" is now visible in attributes. Previously you can only know it when ascending or when using google, or if you really have a big brain.
  • All characters passive talents are now combat related.
  • All characters now have their own cooking/exploration/crafting/smithing talents. It is possible not to have OR have multiple talents in each category. We get it , everyone can taste what a good gravy is, but not everyone can make a good gravy.

Ayaka

  • Alternate sprint binded to a different hotkey.
  • Yes I came from the future.

Albedo

  • Elevator can be activated to go up and down by using the F key.
  • C2 stack counter / indicator via particles (think of razor geo sigils)
  • C4 plunged attack covers albedo's sword in geo energy (like noelle, but smol)
  • C6 crystallize shield has a different shape (leaf)

Amber

  • Increased ultimate radius by a tiny bit.
  • Allow targeting of ulimate by holding the ultimate button.
  • If baron bunny is present in the ultimate radius, it will absorb all pyro damage and deal it as bonus damage when it blows up.
  • If baron bunny was "charged" with pyro rain and hit with a C2 charged shot, it will trigger a micheal bay explosion animation.

Barbara

  • Restored Barbara's Energetic Voice Lines
  • New Lines sold seperately as Dark Barbara™ , comes with a Dark Dress
  • C6 Revive indicator is now visible as a buff.
  • C4 now generates flying energy particles instead of instantly regaining energy. Mind you that this is a fucking nerf to this piece of shit healer that freezes you. It's just that there's no flying particles when you use this hero.

Beidou

  • Casting the elemental skill applies a strong taunt and re-initializes enemies attack loop.
  • Bullet Time effect added when triggering a perfect counter, when playing in single player mode.
  • The ultimate's chain lightning deals tiny spark damage if it didn't jump.
  • C2 chain lightning has a different color.
  • C4 buff is triggered when you do a perfect counter (Taking damage to activate a skill promotes bad gameplay)
  • C4 perfect counter grants the maximum damage bonus
  • C4 shield has a different color.
  • C6 has aura on the ground (inspired by Dota 2's Necrophos , but purple)

Bennet

  • C6 Ultimate pyro infusion just adds pyro damage to your attacks, and won't convert them fully into pyro.
  • C6 Ultimate restores up to 100% hp.

Childe

  • Improved manly posture when in aiming mode
  • C4 Riptide slash and flash uses different coloparticles/animation
  • C6 has an indicator when it works and when it is available

Chongyun

  • Cryo Field's Cryo infusion just adds cryo damage to your attacks, and won't convert them fully into cryo.

Diluc

  • What seriously? You really want more?
  • Fuck this guy in particular
  • Elemental Sword Duration Indicator added
  • C6 his flames has some bluish tint

Diona

  • Fixed shield duration bug and increased by additional 1.1 seconds per claw.
  • Shield ratio based off max hp increased by 10%
  • C2 reduces skill cooldown by -2 seonds (press) and -4 (hold). The coop shield is added by default out of the box. Anything coop should not be locked behind a paywall because it will hurt the game and fanbase.
  • C4 has been reworked to grant normal and aimed uncharged shots 25% chance to deal charged attack shots.
  • C6 radius is increased and uses a different color.

Fischl

  • Ultimate now deals tiny bit of damage per 0.2 seconds tick when making contact with enemies (aside from getting hit by lightning once)
  • Ultimate can fly/pass through thorn walls. I'm looking at you Dendro Samachurl.
  • Shadow Raven Let Night F---!!!
  • C4 Ultimate hp restored now scales off damage dealt by the ult.

Ganyu

  • holding the elemental skill allows you to aim and won't make you backdash
  • C4 Freezing Field changes color intensity per damage increase
  • C6 free frost charged arrow now works with normal unaimed attacks.
  • C6 uses a different particle color. Sometime it turns into a bazooka.

Jean

  • Reduced Increased swaying of boobs by a tiny amount while holding the skill. You can kinda feel them slapping against your face. You can almost describe their softness and warmth in a minimum of 10 pages apart from you going sommelier describing how deep her sweat tastes like.
  • Jean's Charged Attack Launch Height is too damn high that you cant even hit the enemy, so - Reworked Jean's Charged Attack : Holding the attack button launches the enemy in the air. If you keep holding it down you will perform 3 slashes in the air. If you let go early you will stay on the ground.
  • Base Attack Increased by +5
  • Jean can now pick up the slimes dropped by enemies and use it against them for a bighead move
  • Ultimate radius is increased
  • Ultimate Wall Mechanic Reversed. Enemies are now trapped inside. When you use your skill (usually to regain energy) you can air-wall slam them. Block Projectiles from outside.
  • If any of you actually played jean support, a normal person would use ult to heal, cast skill to regain energy, then switch back to other characters. It doesn't make fucking sense to push them outside your wind arena because you want to fight inside the swirl/healing zone.
  • Ultimate swirls every 0.2 seconds , depending on what elements are inside. Field Changes Color Each Time Like a Disco Ball
  • Ultimate now slowly succs enemies to the center(without lifting them up)
  • Ultimate Damage is consequently reduced.
  • C1 Uses a different colored windblast
  • C2 Buff Indicator
  • C4 uses a different color wind field
  • C6 Ultimate is now an aura and moves with you. To break away from "buffed area" convention.
  • C6 Ultimate will get you to keep the windsaber for the ult's duration

  • C6 uses a different icicle particle for bling purposes

Keqing

  • Aiming mode feels a lot smoother. You can aim while moving and cursor immediately shows and the kungfu pose is only done when throwing the stilleto.
  • When in single player mode, casting your ultimate produces a bullet time effect.
  • C4 Buff Indicator
  • C6 Description is confusing as fuck.
  • C6 Buff indicator
  • C6 Makes your sword light up like a lightsaber.

Klee

  • Imroved Torch/Bonfire/Campfire and the likes Lockon (if there's any to begin with)
  • Throwing Jumpty Dumpty provides 0.1s iframe during her spin
  • Ult is now no longer greedy. Pyro satellites remain when you switch characters, making our lovable klee open up for support options. Child support.
  • C4 is now manually triggered, Pressing q again will make her explode, bigger damage based off remaining duration. less duration left, less damage.
  • C6 klee uses different bombs

Lisa

  • A lingerie shop is opened in Mondstadt to change her pantsu, socks and garter belt style and colors. Black Leather Tight Suit™ Sold Seperately.

  • C6 covers your sword with electricity (like diluc) when it is charged and ready
  • Yes I play razor a lot.

Sucrose

  • Fixed crafting bug not producing any bonus when using large quantities (say 100+)
  • Improved lock on when blowing off dandelion flowers. Idk how she keeps missing them even at point blank range, Hell , at any given range.

  • C2 ult has a different color
  • C4 has an indicator that it works
  • C6 buff indicator

Venti

  • Wind current generated by skill (hold) allows him to fall slower without gliding, and allows him to shoot wind lasers. Ehe
  • C2 Charged Shot produces a bullet time effect when shot at point blank or if all 3 arrows hit a single enemy. Sometimes he draws the holy lyre and it transforms into a primitive shotgun.
  • C4 buff indicator.
  • C6 uses different vacuum color

Xiangling

  • Ultimate deals additional damage when cast at point blank because you get stab and bonk while she is twirling her spear.
  • C2 last attack leaves a flaming trail special effect (inspired by kyo or iori from king of fighters)
  • C6 upon cast, Xianling automatically does a speed-up full normal attack combo and then releases the pyronado normally (while covered in flames or some shit). If you are in single player mode and there are no other enemies within 150 radius the ult will cause the screen to black out, like in legend of legaia.
  • C6 during the ultimate if it contacts with gouba's flames it produces micheal bay effects while raining carpet bombs and shit.
  • Yes flat is justice.

Xingqiu

  • Bullet time is always disabled in multiplayer

Zhongli

  • Increased pillar aoe by a tiny bit

  • C1 has a slightly bigger dong eherm statue
  • C4 Chaos Meteor errrr I mean Order Meteor has a different rock color
  • C6 shield uses a different color , come on you get the drift already.
  • C6 Meteor is affected by the element of the barrier you are wearing. The element is dealt as secondary damage, primary damage is still geo. (flaming space rock?)

Why different coloparticles/animation when you have C1-C6 upgrade?

It makes whales feels special, and it gives F2P players something to aspire for. It makes you want to spend with all the bling. Particle recolor is easy peasy and can be deployed within minutes. Attack animations on the other hand are time consuming. It almost always put smile in people's faces when a whale shows up in a ferrari. "Dude check this out a C6 GeoDaddy joined my domain run. Look at the size of his statue. Oh my what a BIG meteor."

Why are you doing this?

It's just for my amusement. I'm still adding random thoughts now that 1.3 has launched. I don't care if nothing gets implemented. I would nut hard in my shorts with QoL and alleged bug/bugfixes mentioned in this post more than anything.

****The Real Laws of DEB****

Edit: These are great! Thanks to all contributors, past and future.
From a couple posts in today “Free talk Friday” post, I had an idea. It may be fun...
Following the format from this comment from u/elliewinks30, what are your thoughts?
*Law of Rare Items* - rare items will inevitably appear on the board with 2 seconds left and no hope of collecting before the round ends *Corollary* - itemt drops fine, but then stops on the second to the bottom row and then there are no more matches right there for the rest of the game and so it remains uncollectable. *Law of Rare items addendum* - should also include 2x items in events. Seems like I can play the last 25 seconds of a game with nary an item in sight, then boom, a 2x item with 2 seconds to go. *Another corollary to the law of rare items* - After a long and arduous effort to get the last of a rare item, within seconds of collecting it one or two more will pop up on the screen. Doubly so if you're not using a lucky emoji.
*Law of common items* - when you only need one more common item you will receive 50 of the ones you have completed first
*Law of Bonus time* - when finishing up bonus time after the round ends, the power ups remaining on the board will automatically swipe in the opposite direction of where you need them to.
*Law of Creating Stars* - Just as you trigger an emoji's power that removes emojis from the board, you notice where you could have made a star. You get to watch as the emoji's power blasts off the emojis, thus removing the possibility of a star.
*Law of Rainbow Falls* - Getting a Level 5 score at Level 1 and a Level 1 score at Level 5.
*Law of ‘Just one more game’* - When you can barely keep your eyes open any more, and suddenly win a 5 lives prize.
*Law of Missions* - Only after clearly the Daily Challenges or spinning the Prize Wheel will missions appear requiring these
*Law of “that one character”* - regardless of the type of mission, rest assured when the rng comes up it will be your worse emoji for that type of thing and all in one game to boot exaggerated example “score 70 million in one game with level one Jack Sparrow” or “use 9 stars+suns in one game with Mickey Mouse”
*Law of the Prize Wheel* - You will spin the wheel four times. Of those four times, you will land on 300 coins three.
*Law of star combinations* - When you need to make a staother, you will get 4 stars on the board, and you will not be able to get an item or other power-up next to said star, without destroying said star from maneuvering the board to get them next to each other in the first place.
*Law of unforeseeable cascades* - if you need an item/star, you will get 4 stars on the board. You will carefully make swaps so that if an item falls, it will be in the same column as one of your star. You will make a swap which sets off a cascade from new emoji drops, and an item will fall at least a column away from all four stars.
*Law of Item Sandwiches* - When you need a stastar combo, an item will inevitable sandwich itself between them.
*Law of Balloons* - you will never, ever remember to pop balloons on the screen the first time that mission comes up. You're lucky if you remember the 10th.
*Law of “House always wins”* - Las Vegas style slot machine. Where the odds are so greatly locked against you.
*Law of Spectacular Repeat* - every time you do something spectacular out of pure luck that you have no chance of repeating in this lifetime, the same feat will spawn as a mission immediately after.
*Law of multi-map events* - you struggle to get items or clears all the way up to the last box when you finally need only 2 to end the map. And you get 17.
*Laws of arbitrary color emoji* - Example: Score 10000000 with a yellow emoji. Okay, I just happened to use Gonzo for another mission and he counted, but I use King Candy, who has significantly MORE yellow and he doesn't count?
*Law of Missions* - You will instantly forget which mission you are trying to clear as soon as you hit play. Was it horizontal or vertical swaps? What were the combo items? Was it blitz mode or regular? Who knows??
*Second Law of Missions, corollary to law of balloons* - Despite specifically checking what the missions are before starting, you will often forget the details during the game. Was is just matching suns or only during blitz, horizontal or vertical, etc.? Every time this happens, you wish you could see the mission details if you pause and get annoyed that you can't.
*Law of the 3 Live Spin* - you will rack up 6-9 more lives when you don’t have time to keep playing but when you have zero lives and nothing to do you you’ll spin no lives
*Law of Lowering Proficiency* - on your 25th game a continuous cascade resulting in 3 rainbow stars, a sun and a score of 300,000 happens
*Law of frozen screen or glitch* - this only happens when you are having the game of your life. You’ll finish the combo mission, get the 3 items you’ve been needing and the game will freeze or never end, forcing you to quit, lose a life and have to start over.
*Law of being one short* - most commonly happens on a daily challenge. You’ll have under 5 to go, usually only 1 in order to complete a mission
*Law of conflicting emojis* - 1 to 3 of your missions will require different emojis, not allowing any multitasking. Most commonly happens during an event adding another element of conflict
*Law of spending diamonds* - You spend diamonds on a box hoping for a specific character and fail. Then you get the character you wanted for free when you complete an event map.
*Law of Villain Events* - You will collect an item before the Villain’s power triggers, but it won’t be credited in time and the villain will attack anyways.
*Law of Event Switching* - when you switch to a non-event emoji to complete a mission, when you switch back to an event emoji you will forget to turn the event back on and you will waste a life.

My collection of custom and extended IAMX/SP albums, including most rare tracks! [UPDATED! Now with 29 additional rarities!] [Listen on Vimeo]

So there’s this OCD-fuelled thing I do with the music of several of my favourite artists, and that is to compile collections of customised albums that
  1. contain as many of the artists’ songs (including songs not released on albums) as possible, moreorless chronologically (while omitting the occasional songs that I didn’t have space for and didn’t mind sacrificing),
  2. have fluid seamless transitions between all tracks (my favourite part), and
  3. extend the albums to all have an equal number of tracks (OCD-fuelled, as I’ve said).
Sometimes, with enough non-album songs, I compile completely new albums.
In the case of IAMX and Sneaker Pimps, I settled on 13 tracks per album, with occasional 7-track "addendums". Nearly all non-album rarities are included, and those that aren't were only excluded after much internal deliberation.
All albums are available for listening on Vimeo (links below). If you'd like download links for the albums, please message me - I won't post the links here, as not to soil the integrity of the sub with downloads of copyrighted material.
×=×=×=×=×
Changelog:
Added the following rarities (mostly to the mini-album series “The {X}tras”):
Turned “The {X}tras” into a series of mini-albums. The original “The {X}tras” is now number V of the series.
Replaced Backwards Bullet with You and My Pearldiver on “Kiss × Swallow II”; moved Backwards Bullet to “The {X}tras II”.
Tweaked the transitions between Quiet the Mind and Under Atomic Skies, and Land of Broken Promises and Walk With the Noise, on The Unified Field.
Removed the merged mix of Happiness, as I needed a free slot for North Star (US Edit), and since the Happiness merged mix is a fan-made mashup of the original version and the Gary Numan version, I thought leaving it out would be okay.

World As a Cone

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503022881/39a328d0af
Notes:
Content: All tracks from the F.R.I.S.K. EP’s “The Soul of Indiscretion” and “Take the Sun Away”, and the Line of Flight EP “World As a Cone”. The tracks were ripped from old vinyls, so the quality isn't great, unfortunately.

Becoming X [× Kelli Ali]

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503028050/7746ecb261
Notes:
Added tracks: Johnny, Precious (both bonus tracks from the album).
×=×=×=×=×

Sneaker Pimps [× Kelli Ali]

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503031971/7c173350e9
Notes:
Content: First half consists of demos from Splinter and Bloodsport, and the second half of Kelli Ali SP songs that didn’t make it onto Becoming X (all bonus tracks from that album, except for Firestarter).
×=×=×=×=×

Splinter

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503036617/c19aa05f3f
Notes:
Added track: Low Five (for Lovers)

The {X}tras I {Stray Addendum}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/505615671/e6719d656c
Notes:
This series of mini-albums was created to group together songs (primarily rarities) that were worth including in the collection but for which there was no room elsewhere.
×=×=×=×=×

Bloodsport

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503041009/8d82b12cda
Notes:
Added tracks: Blue Movie demo (track 2), 7th High.
“(XXX)” was added to the title of the album version of Blue Movie to differentiate from the earlier version.

Kiss × Swallow {Demo Album}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503045382/2e2763a024
Notes:
This is the demo album known simply as “SP4”.
“Kiss + Swallow” was turned from a single album into a series of 3 albums, each with a version of the song “Kiss and Swallow”, with the actual K+S album being number III. SP4 became number I of this trilogy.
Some songs were renamed slightly to differentiate from their later IAMX versions.
The version of Polaroids on this album is actually a later demo, which I swapped with the demo originally from this album as this one fit better here and the other fit better on K×S II.
×=×=×=×=×

Sneaker Pimps II - A - Girl In a Box {K×S Addendum} [× Unknown]

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503050002/060e9fe7de
Notes:
This is the demo EP known simply as SP5, featuring an unknown and unnamed female vocalist. Though the tracks were recorded in 2005, I placed it here (out of chronological order) because it’s still Sneaker Pimps.
×=×=×=×=×

Sneaker Pimps II - B - The Sessions {Demos × Acoustics}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503052222/019e9902c5
Notes:
This album consists of demos and acoustics from the Sneaker Pimps era, with the exception of Thinking Out Loud, which is from the early IAMX era, but fits very well here.
×=×=×=×=×

Kiss × Swallow II {Reboot}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503058294/69f1e93f84
Notes:
“Kiss + Swallow” was turned from a single album into a series of 3 albums, each with a version of the song “Kiss and Swallow”, with the actual K+S album being number III. Number II is a fully custom album.
Content: Demos and non-album songs from the late Sneaker Pimps and "Kiss + Swallow" eras.
Again some songs were renamed to differentiate from their later official versions:
7th High (Reboot): This is the extended remix from the single.
×=×=×=×=×

The {X}tras II {Stray Addendum}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/505618878/5094c95db8
Notes:
This series of mini-albums was created to group together songs (primarily rarities) that were worth including in the collection but for which there was no room elsewhere.
To Make You Love Again renamed from This Will Make You Love Again to differentiate from the IAMX versions, and link it to the SP4 version.
On My Knees renamed from Mercy to differentiate from the acoustic version on Echo Echo.
×=×=×=×=×

Les Chevaliers du Ciel {Stylistic Detour}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503065032/a9a4e7f76e
Notes:
Chronologically, this album should be between “Kiss + Swallow” and “The Alternative”, but as it has no remixes on the first remix album in the collection (which contains remixes from K+S, “The Alternative”, and “Kingdom of Welcome Addiction”), I decided it would fit better before K+S.
Several songs have been added here: i-Polaroid, Sailor (Trash Jam), The Chauffeur (last SP song that still needed a home), and the live acoustic version of You’re the Conversation.
×=×=×=×=×

Kiss × Swallow III {I Am X}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503068982/2915ff817c
Notes:
“Kiss + Swallow” was turned from a single album into a series of 3 albums, each with a version of the song “Kiss and Swallow”, with the actual K+S album being number III.
No songs were added here, but White Suburb Impressionism was spliced with its demo version.

Dogmatic Infidel - A - UNFALL {K.W.A. Addendum}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503083137/5426e78cfc
Notes:
This mini-album was conceived and compiled long before the instrumental album “UNFALL” was even announced. The title is taken from the “UNFALL” versions of various songs from K.W.A.. With the release of the album “UNFALL”, that album became “UNFALL II” to differentiate it from this mini-album.
This mini-album contains all the K.W.A. “UNFALL” reworks, as well as the acoustic version of Think of England (Church of England), and the live German piano acoustic of My Secret Friend, which I got from Chris’ YouTube channel.

Dogmatic Infidel - B - Comedown OK {IAMIXED Volume 1}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503086291/472094b5a0
Notes:
Unlike the real “Dogmatic Infidel Comedown OK”, which contains only remixes from K.W.A., this remix album contains remixes from the first three IAMX albums, including among others tracks from Dogmatic Infidel, as well as "IAMIXED".

The {X}tras IV {Stray Addendum}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/505624818/70f98e47d8

Volatile Times

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503091680/7e8df08b9c
Notes:
The album was slightly rearranged to place Volatile Times between I Salute You Christopher and Music People, as those two songs don’t gel at all.
Added: the Headfuck Collage (The Collage) and Post Romanian Storm versions of Bernadette.
×=×=×=×=×

The Unified Field

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503096477/05517e985e
Notes:
Added the German version of Bernadette, with the subtitle “Black Forest Parade”.
Placed the three cabaret songs together. Walk With the Noise never fit for me between Animal Impulses and Land of Broken Promises.

Metanoia

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503101293/1de2b12b26
Notes:
Added the acoustic version of Screams, as well as Avalanches. The latter is originally a bonus track from Volatile Times, but there wasn’t a spot for it on either Volatile Times or The Unified Field, but I think it fits here well, even if it’s stylistically totally different from the rest of the album.

House of Alchemy - A - Everything Is Burning {Metanoia Addendum}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503106199/7c4abbee25
Notes:
Instead of calling both the mini-album and the remix album “Everything Is Burning”, I decided to use that title for only the mini-album, and instead group it with the remix album under “House of Alchemy”, which references lyrics from the mini-album.
Nothing was added here.
×=×=×=×=×

House of Alchemy - B - Transmutations {IAMIXED Volume 2}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503108990/ca4e179375
Notes:
Like “Comedown OK”, this remix album contains remixes from not just the previous album, but the previous three.
Instead of calling both the mini-album and the remix album “Everything Is Burning”, I decided to use that title for only the mini-album, and instead group it with the remix album under “House of Alchemy”, which references lyrics from the mini-album. “Transmutations” seemed like a very fitting title for the remix album, as it both invokes alchemy and denotes different versions.

UNFALL II {Instrumental Xperiment}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503114357/a47304d0bf
Notes:
Long before the instrumental album “UNFALL” was even announced, I had already conceived and compiled a mini-album by that title. The actual “UNFALL” album thus became “UNFALL II”.
Nothing was added to this album, and the only notable change is that Polar I. replaced The Disease to Please as the closing track, as it works MUCH better in that position than the latter.
×=×=×=×=×

Alive In New Light

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503118309/6f76736b25
Notes:
Four tracks were added here, of which all but one are from the eras of previous albums, but were placed here because they still needed a home, and Alive In New Light needed more tracks. They are: Come Home video version, Look Outside live acoustic from YouTube, North Star (Addendum Mix), and the UNFALL rework of Stardust.
×=×=×=×=×

The {X}tras V {Stray Addendum}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503123440/43bb7a7e6f
Notes:
This series of mini-albums was created to group together songs (primarily rarities) that were worth including in the collection but for which there was no room elsewhere.
Knives is Trash Money’s remix of I Come With Knives. Happiness (Merged Mix) is a fan-made splice of both the album and Gary Numan versions of Happiness.
×=×=×=×=×

Echo Echo {UNFALL III - Acoustics}

Listen on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/503126044/70463a30f0
Notes:
This album was subtitled “UNFALL III”, turning “UNFALL” into a series. “UNFALL II” links to the “UNFALL” mini-album through its experimental electronic aspect, and “Echo Echo” links to the mini-album by containing acoustic reworks.
Nothing was added to this album, as there was nothing suitable to add, so the intro and outro of I Salute You Christopher (containing messages from the IAMX Patreon fan-club) were chopped into separate tracks named {We Are X}.

The Ultimate IW Easter Egg Guides: Mephistopheles (Remastered Guide)

Thanks go to; @dankmagician2521 for some extra suggestions regarding card selection as well as boss fight strategies!

What is 'Mephistopheles' & what does it give you?

What is it? Mephistopheles is the final boss fight in IW, where our 4 characters have to defeat the Devil who Willard sold his soul to
What does it give me?
Mephistopheles give you 3 things;
1) The 'Demon Slayer' calling card (Barracks > Calling Cards > Soul Challenges > Secret)
2) Willard Wyler as playable on Zombies in Spaceland (Activation Code is Left Left Down Up Up Right)
Note: You must have Director's Cut already unlocked to play as Willard. You do not need to have any talismans in order to unlock Willard
3) The Director's Cut Weapon Camo

Setup: Fate & Fortune Cards, Perks & Loadout

Cards: Solo > Reanimated, Hide & Seek, Twist of Fate/Explosive Touch/Stimulus, On The Money/Punching Bags & 5 Second Muscle &/orBest For Last
Notes:
- You should active 'Reanimated' at the start of the Beast boss fight and refill your deck in the arcade if you lose it so you can use it again in the Meph fight
- You should use 'Hide & Seek' to make the 99 second step in the Beast boss a breeze if you feel like you might get trapped
- Use 'Twist or Fate' or 'Explosive Touch' in the final stage of the Meph fight (preferably 'Explosive Touch'). If you do not have either then you should use 'Stimulus' (if you are going to use 'Stimulus' you should also use it for the 99 second countdown step in the Beast boss fight as a precaution if necessary, then just refill your deck again in the arcade so you can use it for Meph)
- The cards 'On The Money' or 'Punching Bags' will be used as a way for you to make a lot of points in order to help you get set up for the Beast boss fight easily and quickly as not to waste time. I will provide links to videos that will explain how to maximise points from these cards. If you do not have the Masochist variant of the DCM-8 shotgun then you should use 'On The Money'
How To Use: 'On The Money' Effectively by EpicSwagGaming69
How To Use: 'DCM-8 Masochist Effectively by Sliq Killa
- The cards '5 Second Muscle' or 'Best For Last' are both good cards for slighting increasing damage output on enemies. Preferably activate just before you enter the Beast boss fight as after killing the Rhinos you'll be able to active 'Reanimated'. Alternatively, you could use this card slot for 'Hide And Seek' (but only if you have no 'Reanimated') as a easier way to escape getting trapped on the 99 second step, however, you could just use 'Stimulus' instead as a bonus card to 'Twist of Fate'/'Explosive Touch'
Cards: Co-Op > Same as for Solo but with a few changes
Changes:
- Only 1 player should have 'On The Money', all other players should swap out this card for either 'Hide and Seek' or 'Stimulus' (As a way of protecting teammates in both Boss fights, in addition to 1 or 2 players also holding either 'Explosive Touch' or 'Twist of Fate'). Once the player is done using 'On The Money' have them dashboard, swap it back out for a priority card, then re-join
- If any of your teammates have 'Rising Phoenix' they must have this card on, I recommend at least 2 or 3 players have the card on just incase 3 players go down in the Meph fight and you can't reach them to revive
- One player could carry 'Black Friday', activate it, then dashboard their game, then re-join, activate it and dashboard their game. Repeat this multiple times till everyone has their desired weapons. Then once you're done with the card, swap it back out for a priority card like 'Rising Phoenix' (or any other recommended card they originally swapped it out for)
- The 'Reanimated' card is pretty useless on Co-OP so swap it out for 'Hide and Seek' if you have it. If not, just use either 'Best for Last' or '5 Minute Muscle' (whichever is not already in your deck if 1 of them is already in your deck for the game)
- Also there is no need to use 'Ego Trip', for both Co-Op or Solo. If you've got the card on solo there is no harm in using it but tried to avoid it if you can help it. On Co-Op, just keep running the Rhinos around in a loop when shooting them, avoiding shooting them in the centre since the flames will block the ammo box
- 'Skull Hacker'** can also be used (see why below in 'What if I have someone without Director's Cut in my game?'. After using the card (if you used it) dashboard, swap it out for a priority card, and rejoin
Perks: Solo > Up N' Atoms, Bang Bangs, Tuff Nuff', Racing Stripes & Quickies/Deadeye Dewdrops
Note: Deadeye can help to remove recoil and can increase damage so you could use it as an alternative to Quickies but given the cards I will recommend you use you should preferably use Quickies
Perks: Co-Op > Up N' Atoms, Bang Bangs, Tuff Nuff', Racing Stripes & Quickies/Deadeye Dewdrops
Note: On Co-Op, Deadeye could be used by at least half of your teammates if you want an extra damage boost
Loadout: Solo & Co-Op >
Primary: Mauler, Atlas, Auger, FHR or VPR
Note: If you have the Sentinel variant for the Mauler this is the weapon you'll want to use. Otherwise, try go for the Atlas, Auger or VPR (Atlas has more ammo, Auger is slightly weaker but has more ammo and the FHR is the most powerful but lacks ammo). If your luck with the wheel is absolutely terrible you can grab the VPR from the wall in the theatre. Also, the Windfall variant for the FHR is also a great variant to use since it can replenish your health when killing enemies.
You could also use the EBR - Bomber variant on solo since this works very well at taking them out fast alongside Ego Trip but once you are in the afterlife arcade preparing for the Meph fight, swap this weapon out for another one of the recommended guns.
Secondary: Kendall-44, Venom-X or Spartan
Note:
- Kendall-44 is your best option as a secondary weapon and you should definitely try to get it if you can. The Venom-X is a close 2nd to the Kendall-44 and you should use it if you can't get the Kendall. If you can't get either you can either use the Spartan or have a second primary weapon (E.g. An LMG and an SMG like Mauler + FHR). Here is a guide to how to unlock the Venom-X if you want to unlock it rather than testing your luck on the wheel.
Venom-X Unlock Guide by SeanEDawgz
- If you have the Kendall-44 as your secondary weapon you can grab the Venom-X as your mule weapon. Alternatively, you could do the 3 weapon glitch in order to have a permanent 3rd gun, so you could have Mauler, Kendall & Venom all at once (making sure to remove Mule Kick as to avoid 4 gun switching trauma).
Note: Only use the 4 gun glitch if you are comfortable switching between 3 different weapons. Not recommended for newer players. Here is a guide on how to do it if you're interested.
4 Weapon Glitch by Swaara

What if I have someone without Director's Cut in my game?

If for some reason you have decided to carry someone without Director's Cut through the Mephistopheles fight (which I strongly advise not to - all players should have Director's Cut if you're trying to defeat Mephistopheles, that's unless you've beat Meph before and want to help someone get Meph out of the way before you help them unlock Director's Cut) you have 3 options.
Option #1 (Simplistic): Use the 5 recommended perks I advised before for Solo players.
Option #2 (Advised): Have someone in your game have the Skull Hacker card in replace of one of the priority cards I recommended earlier (E.g. 'Rising Phoenix'). Once activating the card everyone will need to interact with the Ghosts & Skulls machine in the Theatre Arcade and then once you've completed the game, the person(s) without Director's Cut will be given a permanent perkaholic.
Option #3 (Last Resort - Try To Avoid): If you find it impossible to play with the person without Director's Cut and you still want to get them Meph done before they unlock Director's Cut then once you get to the end of the Meph fight have the Host send them an invite so once they join you can finish the boss fight and they won't have to do anything. To avoid errors when they join they should follow this method;
1) Restart IW
2) Go to a custom match, selecting Beast as the map
3) Wait until it says only 'Waiting...' in the bottom right corner
4) Join immediately once they get the invite

Mephistopheles: Pre-Boss

After the Beast boss fight all players will be spawned into the Afterlife Arcade for 5 minutes. There will be a free magic wheel, a Fate & Fortune card machine and 5 free perks that anyone can collect (I.e. if you have someone in your game that doesn't have Director's Cut and you haven't done the Skull Hacker thing for them).
Use this time to take turns spinning the wheel for key weapons such as the Mauler, FHR, Kendall or Venom if you do not already have them. Make sure at least 1 person (or 2) has the Venom in your game for when you go into Meph. Alternatively, if you are already prepared for the Meph boss you can use this time for toilet breaks as well as time to play on the arcade machines as a way to relax.
Once all players are ready to start the Meph boss you can either wait for the timer to run to 0 or everyone in your game can interact with the exit door to start the cutscene that leads to the fight.
Note: Refilling your card deck will decrease the rate that you can get your cards back so you will likely only be able to use a maximum of 3 in Meph itself. Try not to use up your top priority cards during the Beast boss (I.e. **Twist of Fate/Explosive Touch, Stimulus & Rising Phoenix) unless absolutely necessary

Mephistopheles: All Possible Attacks

Before you enter the Meph boss fight you are going to need to know the basics of the fight which include all possible attacks and how to avoid them all with ease. Here is a list of all the possible attacks and how to avoid them.
Summoning Skeletons: Meph will raise his hands and skeletons will spawn out of the ground. Sometimes a whole horde will spawn, sometimes only a few will spawn. Simply take them out with any weapon. I would recommend killing them as soon as you can so you can focus your attention to Meph as to dodge his other attacks that he may throw at you.
Note: Skeletons will constantly spawn even if Meph doesn't summon them, though they will spawn in generally lesser numbers when they are not summoned so they shouldn't be much of a problem to handle.
Fireballs: The most common attack. Simple run away from the fireballs when he throws them, or just jump to the side (best to just run, jumping sideward can be a bit risky).
Fire Breath: Meph will spit fire from his hand and glide across the arena, breathing fire across the centre of the arena. Try to stick to the sides when he does this and avoid the central area of the area.
Black Hole: Meph will form a black hole in his hand, doing a demonic laugh and shoot it into the centre of the arena, pulling you in. In order to avoid getting sucked in you should jump away from it or jump backwards, whichever you prefer. Alternatively, when you see him forming it in his hand and do the demonic laugh you can go prone just before he shoots the black hole out to the centre so that you will not get pulled in to the black hole.
Meteorite: Meph will either overarm with 1 hand or throw a meteorite with both hands at a specific player. Best way to avoid it is to run towards Meph, he will not be able to hit you with the meteorite. Alternatively, you could just run to the other side of the arena and go behind a pillar but this will not always guarantee your safety.
Fire Wall: Meph will clap his hands together shooting a fire wall straight across the centre of the map, temporarily trapping you on one half of the arena. If you're on Co-Op, try to have everyone split into groups quickly on opposite sides just before he spawns the fire wall so if he targets a specific side of the firewall, the other players will be safe.
Note: Touching the wall will harm you and has the potential to insta kill the player, so be cautious. Also, if Meph does a black hole while the wall is there you will not be sucked in. Once the fire wall attack is over, the wall will retreat backwards and disappear. By the way, sometimes if someone is at the back of the map and they are directly hit by the fire wall they can be knocked out of the map so keep that in mind when he does the attack.
Ground Slam: Meph will spawn into the centre of the arena slowly rising up before slamming loudly onto the ground with both of his fists. There are 3 ways to avoid this attack; either go behind a pillar, go to the very back of the arena or stand on the very outer edge of the arena.
Fire Tornado: The hardest attack to dodge. Meph will move his hands in a circular motion and a large flame will spawn in the centre, spiralling outwards forming small and larger gaps. The best way to dodge the flames is to quickly move across the arena with your eyes on the spinning fire, looking for bigger gaps to get through. When you see a gap appear stand where it is (so the fire moves past you) but do not move towards it because the fire will hurt you or even down you.
Note: Meph can do either a black hole or a fireball while the fire is swirling. If he is doing a black hole don't worry but if he does a fireball then the best thing to do is try to avoid the fireball before getting through the larger gaps created by the fire tornado. Also, hiding behind the pillars will not always protect you from the tornado.

Mephistopheles Fight: The Talismans

When entering the fight, there will be 5 large circles on the ground, representing each map. You will need to charge each talisman individually according to the following steps;
1) You will need to stand on the talisman for an accumulated total of 30 seconds (*amount of players, E.g. 2 players is 60 seconds, 3 players is 90 seconds etc...) while dodging Meph's various attacks. Try to stay on the talisman as long as possible, leaving it when necessary to avoid attacks before hopping back on. Watch out for skeletons! If you're defending someone who is on the talisman make sure to keep the skeletons off of them so they can stay on the circle as long as possible.
Here is a table to help you strategize easily.

Number of Players Number of People - Standing on Talisman Number of People - Defending those Standing on the Talisman
2 1 1
3 1/2 (Depends on preference) 1/2 (Depends on preference)
4 2 2
Note: You should use your primary weapons for small amounts of skeletons. When Meph summons a horde of skeletons, shoot your Venom onto the floor to kill them all immediately (press LB/L1 to activate shot immediately after firing). Also, if nobody is on the talisman for a certain amount of time, the talisman will start to lose it's charge until it depletes completely (if this happens just interact with the talisman again to start charging it back up or choose a different talisman).
2) Once the talisman is completely charged, blue souls will come out of it and you will no longer need to be standing on the talisman. Using your entangler, you will need to shoot a total of 4 souls (*amount of players, E.g. 2 players is 8 souls, 3 players is 12 souls, etc...) at Meph.
Once enough souls have hit him, Meph will be shocked and the symbol on his body representing the talisman you've charged will highlight in gold on his body. You will need to shoot this symbol with any weapon until the symbol imprints in gold on him.
If you have done it successfully he will teleport to the back of the map and block out the light with a boulder and the arena will go dark. If you do not successfully shoot his symbol he will teleport to the back of the arena but souls will still come out of the talisman and Meph will be attacking you again.
3) You will need to complete steps 1 & 2 a total of 5 times, once for each talisman. Between each talisman there will be a stage known as 'The Darkness Stage'. This will be when Meph blocks out the lights and the arena goes dark.

Mephistopheles Fight: 'The 'Darkness Stage'

This stage will occur a total of 4 times (after the 5th talisman will be 'The Final Stage' rather than 'The Darkness Stage'). In this stage, multiple enemies will spawn of various kinds. Here is a table showing you which enemies will spawn for each new stage.

Enemies New Enemy
Talisman #1 Zombies, Cryptids, Phantoms & Clowns
Talisman #2 Zombies, Cryptids, Phantoms, Clowns & The Slasher The Slasher
Talisman #3 Zombies, Cryptids, Phantoms, Clowns & Ninjas Ninjas
Talisman #4 Zombies, Cryptids, Phantoms, Clowns & 2 Blue Rhinos 2 Blue Rhinos (regular Rhino health)
After you clear out all of the enemies, the light will become unblocked and a bunch of mini meteors will spawn. Go behind the pillars for this until the meteors have stopped and then you can start the next talisman.

Mephistopheles Fight: The Final Stage

After completing the 5th and final talisman, and shooting Meph's final glowing symbol on his body, Meph will spit flames and then he will teleport to the back of the arena, beginning the final stage.
You will need to shoot all of Meph's symbols until all of the talismans rise up. Once they've all been raised up, you will be able to interact with them.
Once they've all been activated they will wipe out all enemies and connect shooting a laser beam at Meph, teleporting into the middle of the arena where you can shoot him until he dies and the cutscene begins.
Note: Cryptids, Phantoms, Zombies & Clowns will spawn as the starting enemies before Ninjas are introduced about a minute in. After a further minute the Slasher will spawn and then a further minute or 2 later, a Blue Rhino will spawn (which can charge you down) so try to get all of the talisman raised as quickly as you can as to avoid the later enemies spawning.
Tips & Tricks for 'The Final Stage'
- On solo, activate 'Explosive Touch', 'Twist of Fate' or 'Stimulus' (Priority card) once the 1st or 2nd talisman has been raised up so you can focus your weapons on Meph and have the card taking care of any enemies that are trying to attack you.
- While Meph is doing a ground slam or a black hole (preferably accompanied with a fire wall since he can't suck you in) you can use it to your advantage and focus more fire on Meph since he won't be able to attack you and you can easily get a lot more damage on him than when other attacks are going on.
Note: Neither of these cards are very successful in taking out Phantoms and they will not harm either the Slasher or the Rhinos so try to take out Phantoms once they spawn while you have 1 of these cards activated.
- On Co-Op, follow this strategy >
2 Players - Have 1 player activate 'Stimulus', and have the other player activate either 'Twist of Fate or Explosive Touch'
3 Players - Have 1 player activate stimulus, have 1 player activate either 'Twist of Fate or Explosive Touch' & have 1 player have 'Rising Phoenix' ready to use if everyone but them goes down
4 Players - Have 2 played activate Stimulus (activate the 2nd after the 1st has run out), have 1 player activate 'Twist of Fate' or 'Explosive Touch' & have 1 player ready to active 'Rising Phoenix' if everyone but them goes down

Common Questions W/Answers

1) What is the best variant against the Blue Rhinos?
Mauler - Sentinel. The 3rd strongest variant in the game, and has a lot of ammo. What more is there to love?!
2) How long does this whole easter egg take?
Depends on the number of players in your game. On Solo, it should take you about 45 minutes to an hour. On Co-Op it should take you about an hour. Use this knowledge to plan when to run Meph with friends.
3) What is the best number of players to do this with?
Best to do it with 4 players but in some cases, 3 players might work better for you. I would recommend testing out both 3 and 4 players in the Beast and Meph boss battles and see which fits your preference.
4) Is it possible to increase magic wheel luck?
No. This is a complete myth.
5) Where can I find extra players for Xbox to help me with this?
There are 3 ways you can find more players;
1) Make a group post
2) Go to the club, 'IW Zombie Saviours' and make a post requesting players
3) Go to the club, 'Zombies Successors Official Gaming Club' (ZSOG) and make a post requesting players

New to online Slots? - Starter guide/tips for newbies playing online slots

Okay so I decided to create this guide with the hopes of it becoming a sticky thread for all newbies to the online slots world, to read as we deal with the same topics repeatedly and the same answers/advice are given repeatedly. Not that we do not want to help, but these would prevent you from getting into situations before its too late, or blaming casinos when you were in the wrong.
Signing up or Registration
Registration – Please carefully read the general terms and conditions about every "Right" the casino has and please note that you accepted these terms upon signing up, which means you are saying you are okay with it and agree with what the casino state about what they can and cannot do.
Claiming Bonuses
Read the bonus terms carefully before claiming any bonuses and look for the following pointers when reading the bonuses rules:
There are other bonus terms that I have not mentioned but I think the above ones are the most important as these could affect you in terms of confiscation of your winnings should you breach any of them.
Verification
This is pretty much standard for a casino to ask for some form of Identification, proof of address and proof of deposit when requesting a withdrawal. Depending on the amount win, some casinos might not need documents, however when a substantial amount has been won additional verification or security checks might be done which means a longer withdrawal time frame. Verification or KYC is necessary, however I feel when casinos ask for selfies with your ID next to you etc. in my opinion is just ridiculous. Also, I have noticed some casinos requesting your source of income to see where you get the money to make deposits etc. This seems standard and you would need to do it to get your withdrawal, however all of us have different opinions about this verification procedure.
Withdrawals
Many casinos have different withdrawal time frames and when you accept the general terms and conditions you have to a abide by them, by this I mean stop being impatient and complain that the casinos withdrawal time frames are the worst etc. As you knew this before you started playing provided you have read the terms and condition. You decided to deposit and play so then wait for your money, eventually it will come unless you breached some rule, or the casino is a rogue casino.
Here are some of the tips you should note when it comes to withdrawals at casinos:
Self-Exclusion
Self-Exclusion is a big thing these days and most cases substantial amounts are involved that are being confiscated. There are at times very little that us forum members or even AskGamblers can do when a player self-excluded and played at a sister website or similar, as we know the result and of course the house is kind of right. However, I think it's bad that a casino only realizes the self-exclusion portion on a player profile once it reaches withdrawal stage, because I feel they should have something in place that can detect that you self-excluded upon registration or before you even make your first deposit. People with gambling problems tend to self-exclude but the alternative is to read this guide - https://www.askgamblers.com/forum/topic/2152-sos-i-am-addicted-to-gambling-what-to-do/ . My advice is to keep your casino account open and do not play there anymore, because even if you request a permanent account closure, some casinos tend to self-exclude you without you knowing it and this would cause problems in future since you opened another account at their sister website or something.

You will find this for many of these games, and it will level you up faster. It is also worth checking any subreddits dedicated to the games, as there are usually helpful redditors about.
Avoid: Trumps Empire (worst game ever, took too long), King's Throne Game of Lust (took too long, and was gross), Game of Kings: Blood Throne lvl22 (almost impossible without purchases, level 20-21 takes 6 months without power-ups apparently), War Games: Commander lvl21 (seems easy enough at the beginning, but then becomes almost impossible without purchases, you won't find out until it's too late)
Note: Make sure to compare between: ayeT, OfferToro, Revenue Universe etc. as some of Swagbucks Partners offer more SB than others for these apps and it changes constantly. Offers come and go, and fluctuate in value all the time. 130SB=£1 in Amazon vouchers at the best conversion rate (converting to £10 vouchers). So figure out if something is actually worth your time.
When you reach the required level: Take a screenshot as proof, close and reopen the game (I read this updates your progress on their servers), and wait 1 week for SB to credit, do not delete the app right away, wait until credited. If no credit after 1 week, contact SB support with the screenshot. Have never failed to be credited, but have had to chase up a couple of times.

Unique Relapse - Need Support/Feedback

Hello,
I am a gambling addict. I recognized my addiction 10 years ago but didn’t acknowledge it and try to get better until 5 years ago.
After struggling to stay gamble free for 2 years, I finally was able to stop completely with support of family and friends around me. I opened up to them and in return was blessed with love and empathy.
Last week I was 15 days away from 3 years straight gamble free. For business I had to travel to a different state, and there was a casino open near my hotel that my company put me in. I wanted to go in just to see how it felt and prove I was disconnected. This was a mistake.
I sat at a slot and immediately couldn’t help myself. I convinced myself that I needed to play to prove that it wouldn’t feel the same. I know that from an outside perspective this rationalization sounds utterly foolish, but in the moment I tricked my mind to where it made sense.
I put in a $100 bill and hit the max bet for a $20 spin. Nothing. Hit it again, and the feature triggers and goes to the bonus wheel.
The wheel stops. The machine screams and the lights go haywire. I hear people around me clapping. I hit the Mega Jackpot for $163,000.
Now, I was smart enough to take the net winnings after tax and get out of there as fast as I could. Since then I have paid off every dollar of debt I had and I still have a ton of money leftover just sitting in my checking account. My credit report will now show $0 debt. Credit cards and student loans gone.
I’m still in shock. While it’s incredible to be debt free and have some real cash on hand, I feel like I didn’t deserve this and I should’ve been punished, not rewarded. I haven’t gambled since and I am currently 6 days clean after the relapse.
My grandpa, who is super supportive, told me to take it as a blessing from God. He said that I should use it as motivation to “go out a winner” and if I ever feel like gambling again to just remember I’ll never win more than I did this time.
Guys, I’m conflicted emotionally and mentally. I’m afraid of myself and how easily I relapsed after almost 3 years. I’m disappointed and afraid. I keep thinking about what could’ve happened if I didn’t get ridiculously lucky and win the jackpot and if I just kept losing. I would’ve probably played until I lost it all, as I used to until 3 years ago.
I used to say, “one day I’ll hit the jackpot and all my problems will be solved.” What sucks is I had just come to terms with how sick and delusional that sounded when I’d say it. The issue is, it actually happened now, and I’m in the best financial place I’ve ever been. I should feel on top of the world.
I know not to go back. I need to hear from others though. I need advice to help me stay strong and to help me forgive myself. Please.

Day 1 of Quitting- My story into gambling addiction

Hi everyone,
This is my first post so bare with me. It may be long so don’t feel compelled to read it.
I am 26 years old and in the midst of the Pandemic, I have been working from home since March. Before September, I would never have thought of myself having a gambling addiction. I remember being on a cruise when I turned 21 and put $20 in a slot machine and lost it and was so angry and disappointed in myself.
Then in September I kept seeing this ad on Instagram for an online casino. One day I succumbed and decided to sign-up because they had a $30 signup offer. I thought, ‘Hey what’s the harm?’ I wish I could go back and slap myself and say don’t do it.
I play through the free $30 and won $500. My whole body felt electrified. That went away when I realized there were wagering requirements (I have never been in/involved with casinos so I had no idea). By the time I met the wagering requirement, I had $75 of withdrawalable money. Still excited I made $75 for free I went to withdrawal, but found out the minimum withdrawal amount is $100. So I kept playing and eventually lost it. I wish I learned my lesson that this will be the reality most of the time.
For a bit of background, before this I was in a decent financial state. Pretty good job for someone my age, lived alone in a nice apartment, had some credit card debt, but overall manageable. I have some mental health problems (Bipolar and anxiety disorders) but received treatment and relatively stable compared to my early 20s.
As the days went on I couldn’t stop thinking about seeing that ‘big win’ flashing on my screen and kept thinking to myself, ‘that $500 could have been mine if I didn’t have that $30 bonus’. So, I decided to deposit $20 and bet low on the same game and won nothing. I felt sick like I did on the cruise.
This particular online casino gives you $1 every day, so for the next week I just played but $1 and won some, but not enough to withdrawal. About a week later, I got an email from the casino saying if I deposit $50, I’ll get an extra $50 with no wagering requirement. The thought of depositing $50 was crazy to me so I just deleted the email and continued with my free $1 a day. After about a week of that, I get another email, deposit $50 play with $200. I scoured the fine print and I only had to play through the extra $150 once, then any winnings I can withdrawal. I still hesitated until Friday night where I had a couple drinks and decided to go for it. Back then, I would say this was one of the most fun nights of my life. I kept landing the ‘fireshot’ feature and winning mini and minor jackpots. At the end of the night I won $1200 USD (I’m from Canada so it would be about $1500 CAD).
My body was so full of excitement I could barely hit the withdrawal button. When I did, I found out they had to verify my account and I had to send in the required documents. After I researched if this was standard for online casinos and researching this casino, I sent in my documents. I went to bed happy, and already had plans on what I was going to buy/pay off with this win. Unfortunately I was too excited to sleep. So I log back in and miraculously (at least to me back then), my $1200 was still there, and playable. So I thought why not play a few more rounds with a higher bet to get an even bigger win? Big mistake. By 3:00am, I was down to $100. I forced myself to stop so I could still withdrawal something. After about a week or two, I resisted playing/betting more and when I logged into my online banking and saw the $120 deposited, I think that’s when my addiction started.
I was no longer satisfied with my free $1 everyday. I started just depositing $20 here and there. On my lunch break or in the evening when I was bored. Then $20 turned into $50 and $50 to $100. After maxing my credit card with no significant wins, I decided enough was enough. And stopped for the rest of September.
Most likely because I had researched so much about online casinos, I had more ads than ever tempting me. One night again after a few drinks, I joined a different online casino. This one was completely different, with better games, a level up feature where you get to spin a wheel after each level and win free spins, cash back or free money, I was hooked again. I put in $50 and lost and was completely broke. So I patiently counted down the days until I got paid. I also sold about $500 worth of video games/consoles I didn’t want to sell, but did to have more money to gamble with.
On payday, I set an alarm for 4:00am when my pay is deposited. This was the first real sign to myself I may be becoming obsessed, but brushed it off. I deposited $100 and won $200. Same story, I had to verify my account but this was done within hours, and I got my money in two days VS a week and a half with my first casino. Stupidly, I put the $200 back in and lost it. I was back to being broke after only two days of getting paid. By the weekend, my credit card payment posted and in my eyes, I had money again.
That night I won most of what I lost back and learned my lesson and withdrew it. When I saw that sum deposited into my bank account, I was ecstatic. I first paid off my credit card I was using to make the deposits, and went out and bought AirPods Pro. I felt rich (even though the win was less than $1000). That evening I wanted to play again, but I had no money. This was the night I learned I could cancel a bill payment within 24 hours. Which I did. And played through all my winnings. Words can’t describe how disappointed I was in myself. I was broke. Credit card maxed. And the only thing I had to show for it were the AirPods. The next day I tried returning them but they wouldn’t accept the return because of their return policy on headphones. I vowed to myself to never gamble again, wrote a note in my phone describing what I was feeling so I could read it if I was ever tempted. That week I fell into a depressive episode. I couldn’t afford groceries, lied to friends and family for not spending time with them because I feared they would want to order food, I didn’t want to admit what happened, so I isolated myself.
That week was what I thought was the hardest. I just stayed in bed signing up to every casino out there for free spins no deposit sign ups to try to fill the void but you never actually win anything on no deposit spins. Finally, my good friend asked what is going on and I immediately bursted into tears and told her I was broke, and my credit card maxed. We work at the same job, and long story short, are both getting $5000 in retro pay because of a expired union contract. She told me she would lend me $5000 now, and I would give her my retro money when we get it in February. This was one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me. Reluctantly, I decided to accept this kindness and we worked out a budget on how I would not let this happen again. Here’s the thing, and I will never forgive myself for, I didn’t tell her all this happened because of gambling. I was too ashamed and embarrassed.
Life was somewhat normal again for a couple weeks until one night I decide to just put in $100 and see if I can win some of what I now owed my friend back. After $500 lost, those same feelings came back, but worse since I felt I betrayed my friend’s kindness, and that this isn’t the first time this happened.
Fast forward to November - I won again (not nearly enough to recover my losses), paid my credit card and cancelled the payment, lost it all again. Then towards the end of November, my $1000 for rent sitting in my savings account kept calling my name. I have never ever been in a position where I would risk not affording rent, but my addiction was stronger and I lost $500 of it. I had about a week until my rent was due, I had nowhere to turn, I couldn’t ask my friend for a loan because in her mind, and from the few times she asked, I was sticking to my budget. My new way of handling stress was gambling, so I put another $100 in and won $600. I was saved and again vowed myself to never put myself into this position again and ‘quit’.
Now it is December, I guess this is my rock bottom. Not nearly as bad as some people’s, but here it is. I took out another credit card for ‘emergencies’ since my main one is maxed. I was good, and didn’t use it except to buy a few groceries which I swore I would pay off on payday. My mental health declined, and I deposited $100 and lost it. Then another $100. Lost it. Made another ‘promise’ to myself to stop and I did until last night. I now owe $1,000 on the new credit card, and my main one is now in a negative balance because of a subscription.
I am a liar, I take advantage of people’s kindness that I didn’t deserve in the first place, and now in more credit card debt than I know how to deal with. All I can wish for is I’ve learned my lesson. That the money I lost I will never get back, and to find some way to fill the void gambling has left in my life. After only the first day, I don’t know what will give me that feeling of excitement, the feeling of being alive. I had all my casino accounts deleted this morning, but I know there are more out there, I just really hope I can stop myself from ever going back on this path.
If you made it this far thank you for reading. If you have any suggestions on what I can do to not relapse, and any hobbies or activities that can fill the void please let me know.

[10.23] Preseason 11 Kai'Sa Bot Lane AD/On-Hit Guide (MASSIVE explanation of some Item and Rune Choices)

[10.23] Preseason 11 Kai'Sa Bot Lane AD/On-Hit Guide (MASSIVE explanation of some Item and Rune Choices)

Intro and Recap

Rest In Peace my hybrid guides of the olden days.
Okay, season 11 is massive. Unlike most preseasons, this overhauled the entire item system for everyone, which changed the game massively. Not to mention various other changes like changes to stats and runes. The 10.23 patch notes itself takes a very long time to get through.
So let's cover some important stuff that affects Kai'Sa before moving onto the guide.
SO MANY DIFFERENT ITEM PATHS!
The biggest and most refreshing change in season 11 - Item diversity. Kai'Sa in particular has SO MANY different item choices to choose from. Everyone is building different stuff and quite frankly, it's amazing.
Of course that means playing her just got more difficult since more flexibility means a lot more thinking is required when it comes to item choices.
In this guide I'll present my favourite item path, but I'll also touch on a few other paths to explain my thoughts. I also cover some unique item interactions which may not be obvious. However, I cannot explain everything as there's just SO MANY different ways of building Kai'Sa now.
Games end pretty quickly - I find it rare to go beyond 3 core items, thus creating a need to be useful earlier. This also influences my item build.
Critical Strikes
Critical strikes have been technically nerfed across the board. Items now provide max 20% crit chance so you need 5 items to reach 100% crit chance. In addition, critical strikes now deal 175% normal damage, instead of 200% normal damage.
I should also mention that at the time of writing, the new Infinity Edge is seriously mediocre. This forms a large part of my item build reasoning.
Lifesteal, Omnivamp, and Grievous Wounds
Lifesteal received a massive buff by allowing on-hit damage to also heal you. Omnivamp now exists in the game which means any damage (including true damage) can now heal.
Sustain in general has received accessibility buffs across the board, which means Grievous Wounds also received buffs in order to help compete against the gigantic spike in sustain.
As a side effect, marksmen are far more fun to play now since it's easier to survive now instead of instantly blowing up.
These changes are very important and play a large role in the reasoning of my item choices.
Almost all the items are different, and Mythic items are priority first buy
I mean, you kind of have to read the patch notes and see all the changes. But almost every item has been changed, and there's been a lot of new additions too. Rageblade now works very differently and forms an important reason as to why AD/on-hit is strong now.
Mythic items are extremely important 'first-buy' items that you can only have one of at a time, which obviously affects decision making for items.
Tanks are actually scary when fed
Tanks across the board have received major power increases from their revised items. This means even if a tank isn't purposely building pure damage, a tanky foe is now more of a threat than ever and can seriously put a damper to your plans. They have more options for either accessing targets or throwing out more CC (Frostfire Gauntlet for example can create really big slowing fields almost the width of a lane), and in general their damage is higher thanks to new item effects.
Hybrid is gone!?
Unfortunately I don't think hybrid is coming back just yet. As you can see from my past guides, I loved building hybrid back when it was viable. Currently, AD/on-hit is too strong to give up for Kai'Sa but as with any preseason, sweeping changes can happen pretty quickly so who knows if this will remain for months from now.
Hybrid is not gone entirely, as there are options to adding magic damage to her late game. However, currently the 'best' item paths involve a lot of AD. Games end too fast for me to actually judge how hybrid late game fares, because games rarely go beyond 3 items. The other issue is that armor penetration / anti-armor choices have increased, so there is less pressure to go magic damage.

Unique Item Interactions

As with my older guides, I present the Quick Guide first for those who only need quick refreshers. After that, the full guide explains everything which I recommend reading if you want to know the reasoning behind everything.

Quick Guide (my favourite item path)

Runes:

Items:
Example full build (Standard physical on-hit) :
Example full build (Anti-armour / Anti-tank / My entire team's damage is physical):
Example full build (Anti-siege / Waveclear + sustain machine):
Example full build (I want all abilities evolved!):
Example full build (Hybrid damage by adding magic damage, low sustain):

Full Guide

Runes

Primary Rune Choices
Hail of Blades is currently my favourite. I often go between Press the Attack and this, but currently HoB is too strong to give up. It makes her early game incredibly powerful and keeps you afloat for the rest of the game, even if it technically loses power the longer the game goes. The extra attack speed allows you to burst down frontline and squishies alike. It also allows exceeding the attack speed cap if you ever play super late games.
Press the Attack is an old favourite but right now HoB is simply stronger. Maybe later PtA will shine again but with how fast games are ending, HoB is just way more useful earlier.
Taste of Blood, Eyeball Collection, and Ravenous Hunter are safe picks for the rest of the tree. Given her short range Taste of Blood is a no brainer to survive early game. Eyeball Collection simply because it's the best for a non-support. Ravenous Hunter was changed to omnivamp with lower healing numbers, maxing out at 11% at 5 stacks. Previously Ravenous Hunter wasn't that great because it healed far too little until late game. Now, with the new changes, it is a strong rune and you will be surprised how much healing Ravenous Hunter can give you in each game, especially because omnivamp includes true damage.
As explained previously in my other guides, Sudden Impact is not that great on her despite sounding good in theory - it does nothing for basically more than half of each game, since you need late game to be able to spam E invisibility.
Secondary Rune Choices
Lots of options here (Precision especially) but I found Sorcery secondary to be the best for me. Transcendence has been reworked and provides ability haste at level 5 and 8. At Level 11, it suddenly turns into a crazy strong rune where takedowns now also reduce remaining basic ability cooldowns by 20%. This is a very powerful effect that plays a large role in keeping Kai'Sa deadly in the mid to late game, almost akin to the power levels the old Presence of Mind gave.
The last rune choice here is very situational. Manaflow Band is never a bad option as mana is hard to come by this season, so getting extra mana plus free regen is nice. Nullifying Orb is a safe option when faced with a brutal magic damage lane. Lastly, Gathering Storm is a "default" option when you don't know what to pick. It doesn't do much until 20+ minutes or later, but free stats is free stats.
I would lean towards a rune that is more impactful early, as getting past the early game is Kai'Sa's biggest concern right now. She does well once you get your items, so Gathering Storm is not really necessary especially since most games end before 30 minutes.
Shards
Attack speed is a must for the offense slot. Rest are situational. In most cases you can get away with Adaptive Force in the flex slot, but switch it to appropriate defenses if you're facing an oppressive lane.

Items

Mythic Item Choice - Kraken Slayer

Mythic items are introduced as the ideal first power spike of every player. Your first core item is pretty much always going to be a Mythic item, as they offer seriously powerful effects and then continually offer more power as you complete Legendary items.
There are 3 marksmen tailored Mythic items to ponder about (though Kai'Sa being Kai'Sa, has more than just these 3 options...). Galeforce, Immortal Shieldbow, and Kraken Slayer.
Kraken Slayer has immense synergy with anyone that values attack speed. Simple effect: Every third attack deals true damage. To compensate for not giving you any fancy defensive stats, it offers the most AD and attack speed stats compared to the other two Mythic items, which is great since Kai'Sa needs specific numbers to evolve abilities.
It also grants more attack speed as you build more Legendary items, which again is fantastic considering how it works.
Note that Kraken Slayer does not count as on-hit, so Rageblade will not make it more OP.
It offers the most synergy with Kai'Sa's kit by far out of these options and hence why it's my favoured Mythic.
Shieldbow is powerful and is probably one of the best Mythics in the game solely on the basis that it allows ADC players to, y'know, actually play the game now instead of instantly disappearing when an assassin looks in their direction. Given Kai'Sa's short range, it seems like it'd be great on her. It is, except for the fact that Kraken Slayer is just way better for her. To compensate, my item build grabs other items to help deal with the lack of survivability Kai'Sa normally has by giving up Shieldbow.
Shieldbow luckily also grants additional AD with completed Legendary Items. This is what allows Shieldbow to still give you a timely Q evolve at two items, as otherwise the missing AD would cause problems.
Galeforce is too mediocre. It's not a bad item, but the other two have better synergy with her. More importantly, it offers less stats which makes it annoying to evolve her abilities. The active cooldown is also really long. Overall this item fits better on other champions - Kai'Sa has better choices. The biggest bummer of Galeforce - it is not gold efficient immediately.
What about Eclipse?
Eclipse is an assassin tailored Mythic item that has emerged as a possible item choice for Kai'Sa. The item path involving it, called the "Korean Build", is a high risk high reward build path that relies on ending games quickly. More info on this build path way down below.

Second Core Item - Blade of the Ruined King (BorK)

Already got your head spinning around thinking about just the first Mythic item? Well, it doesn't end there!
Item diversity is hot these days and well, there's A LOT of choices even after you've decided on Kraken Slayer.
My favoured second core item is Blade of the Ruined King. This item has been reworked a bit, and as a result it's now a viable item on Kai'Sa!
My reasoning for BorK second follows:
First, I am gaining immense offensive power with Kraken Slayer, but that means I am giving up Shieldbow. Every ADC needs something to survive, as this season your threats have been buffed too. Assassins got some big wins with their revised items, and tanks can be a threat earlier too. This is why Shieldbow is so popular.
To compensate for giving up Shieldbow, BorK second grants her much needed lifesteal/sustain and a nifty movespeed steal effect that, combined with Kai'Sa's E and R abilities, make her difficult to dive. This is GOOD, if not essential given her short range. Even without divers it is so easy to lose a lot of health to AoE and poke.
Next, BorK is pretty gold efficient. It exceeds its efficiency when facing healthy targets and only loses a minor amount of gold efficiency when attacking targets with less than 333 health, which by that point is not really a problem.
In addition, BorK I find gives you useful item components earlier. Building towards Runaan's for example doesn't help as much as 15% crit chance doesn't do much early on compared to lifesteal and additional stats. This is important because games end pretty quickly - I find it is rare for games to go beyond 3 core items. I need to be more useful and capable earlier this season.
The last hurrah - it allows you to evolve Q and E quickly. If you're ahead (as in, lots of gold but not levels) it will immediately just evolve either upon completion. Otherwise the components building up to BorK second will help evolve both. Kraken Slayer + Doran's Blade + Pickaxe is enough for Q evolve. The above with Recurve Bow and Berseker's Greaves is enough to evolve E. Remember that Kraken Slayer grants +10% attack speed per Legendary item, which is why you evolve so fast.
Basically, BorK second solves problems of survivability when giving up Shieldbow, while also remaining a gold efficient buy, synergizes greatly with her kit, and grants ability evolutions. That's amazing value!
As a reminder, on-hit now works with lifesteal. This means you're not just healing from lifesteal, but also healing from % health damage with BorK. Add on synergies like Rageblade and yeah, it's good.
Lastly, as a bonus % health damage is always handy since it's rare to have no tanks to fight against. This is really nice since penetration items are often grabbed pretty late, so this compensates quite a bit.
What about other items second, like Runaan's Hurricane, Ravenous Hydra, Black Cleaver, etc.?
Plenty of people swear by Runaan's second, as it'll still evolve Q and E while granting those multi target bolts which work with Kai'Sa's passive. The additional AoE is helpful for waveclear for sure, and can be handy in teamfights.
The issue is that again, I need to compensate for not going Shieldbow first. You are missing vital sustain and a life-saving shield. Kai'Sa is short ranged. You simply cannot get away with greeding for more damage after the first Mythic. As such, I don't like Runaan's second, but it certainly can be built later.
Ravenous Hydra covers the sustain aspect, while also granting AoE for waveclear. Unique interaction with her Q is neat as well for sustain and waveclear. However, since it offers no attack speed it delays her E evolution massively. A potential item to get later, but loses to BorK as a second item.
Black Cleaver isn't terrible - it has neat interactions with Kai'Sa that makes it really potent. But again, BorK second offers greater value and a fast E evolution. BC as a later item though has a lot of potential.
The pattern you're seeing here is that Kraken and BorK as first two core items offers so much that any other good items just have to be delayed until after them in my opinion. You get everything you need on Kai'Sa fast, and are useful earlier when games are ending fast.

Grievous Wounds

Very important since sustain is in every game now. Executioner's Calling is worth grabbing in between getting your 3rd+ core items. This is extremely important because everyone has far more sustain these days, and in most cases random teammates won't build Grievous Wounds until it's too late.
Kai'Sa can actually make use of other GW items if she builds differently (AP Kai'Sa for example), though for our purposes of on-hit, building Executioner's Calling which can later build into Mortal Reminder will serve fine, especially since it adds crit chance for Rageblade damage.
You do not need rush into Mortal Reminder unless the healing is really over the top though. If they have some heavy healers like Aatrox, Rhaast form Kayn, Soraka, Yuumi, Swain, Mundo, Vladimir, etc., 60% Grievous Wounds is a must and Mortal Reminder contends for third core item.

Situational 3rd and beyond items

As I mentioned earlier, everything after the first two core items and Berserker Greaves is entirely situational.
Head spinning after figuring out the first two core items? Fantastic, because now your options are about to get more complicated! It's all about adapting now, no single item path to follow. Just take a look at the amount of deviations you can take with my build in the quick guide...And that's just this item path!
Adapting to the situation: What items do you need next?
It's important to think before moving on to more items. By this point, games are usually rapidly approaching ending. Most games don't go to 30 minutes, which means games are ending before going beyond 3 core items.
There are A LOT of options. If you're thinking of damage, Guinsoo's Rageblade is a safe option. But there lots of options if you need more sustain, or waveclear, or defensive items, or AP stats / W evolution, or anti-heal (Grievous Wounds), or penetration...etc, etc. Think before impulse buying, as often taking a detour to get Grievous Wounds is what can end the game in victory faster than if you greed for more damage, for example. Same thing with getting a defensive item against a scary team who can reach you easily.
It's all about adapting to the situation, and Kai'Sa fortunately works well with so many items that you can make it work. Another shoutout to Greivous Wounds because again, this season sustain has received massive buffs and you can expect to need to use anti-healing every game.
Guinsoo's Rageblade
The general safe option is Rageblade third. Rageblade is a very potent item due to its rework this season - it disables critical strikes and basically turns critical strike chance into on-hit physical damage. Given that critical strikes have been nerfed, as well as how Kai'Sa's kit and stats work (less base AD = less effective crits), on-hit has become very powerful. The reworked Infinity Edge is very lacking at the moment, which contributes to on-hit being a better alternative for Kai'Sa at the moment.
The major difference from previous seasons is that most of your on-hit damage is now physical, as Rageblade provides physical on-hit damage, and lost its hybrid stats (only gives attack speed now, no AD/AP stats). With Bork and Rageblade you deal a lot physical on-hit damage.
As a third item it works out well - at this point with 40% crit chance it is gold efficient. As with previous seasons it still makes every third attack proc on-hit effects twice, which means it has immense synergy with any on-hit abilities and items. For Kai'Sa, that means her passive (both the on-hit damage and her Rupture stacks), as well as BorK. It removes critical strikes, but at this point the synergy means it deals more damage than you were doing before.
In general Rageblade should be a core item, but the crazy thing this season is that Kai'Sa is surprisingly not dependent on it anymore. It's a fantastic item that has immense synergy with the items I've built so far, but it's actually not even necessary, which is absolutely bonkers! However, because it is still a strong item, I wouldn't advise ignoring it completely. Get it 3rd or 4th, just don't delay it too much.
Don't forget to get Grievous Wounds before building 3rd+ core items.
Runaan's Hurricane
I already covered why I don't get Runaan's second. As a 3rd or later item though, it has a lot of potential. It adds on to the on-hit synergy with Kai'Sa's kit, BorK, and Rageblade. I generally don't rush Runaan's though because if I'm looking for more damage, Rageblade 3rd item seems to be a better choice.
Runaan's is handy if you really need waveclear. In theory it's better for teamfights too but generally if you're close enough to hit 3 champions, there's a very high chance you're in a bad spot and are in massive danger. Otherwise, yeah it's a very good item that combos well with Rageblade thanks to bolts applying on-hit effects and crit chance adding more to Rageblade's damage. If the game goes late this is certainly an option. There is a lot of competition for item slots though and I often find myself favouring other choices, depending on the game state.
Oddly enough, Ravenous Hydra is decent competition for a similar niche of AoE damage. More on that below.
Black Cleaver
Bet you didn't see that coming eh? So it turns out a lot of bruiser items are viable on Kai'Sa too. Like I said, item diversity is through the roof this season!
Black Cleaver has been reworked, which works in favour of Kai'Sa. Like before, her Q missiles grants stacks of Carve individually, meaning if 6 missiles from a single Q hit the same target, they are immediately Shredded. This allows Kai'Sa to shred the armour of a target almost immediately, and then take advantage of extra damage.
Shredded targets take % missing health damage from abilities and attacks from you. This combos really well with Kai'Sa's kit. It is a surprising amount of damage, not only because you shredded their armour (which is good for your whole team by the way), but also because her high attack speed combined with her passive makes her rip through targets. It works well on squishies too, not just tanks.
Black Cleaver doesn't fit in as a second item, but as a third or later item it has a lot of potential. This is definitely something to have as an option against high armour stacking teams, and becomes more valuable if your team is stacked on physical damage too. Since it grants Ability Haste and Health, it also makes it really useful against a team of tanky foes who keep running at you.
Did I mention Black Cleaver works as on-hit effects against Shredded targets, thus increasing synergy with Rageblade? With Rageblade and high attack speed, Shredded targets go down even faster!
Ravenous Hydra
Ability Haste, AD, Omnivamp, and a crazy passive that works uniquely with Kai'Sa? Yep, another bruiser item with a lot of potential on her!
As mentioned earlier, it has unique interactions with her Q which makes it incredibly useful for sustaining from large waves and teamfights, while also improving waveclear. Each missile procs Tiamat once, so while 10 missiles hitting the same target only procs Tiamat once, hitting 10 different targets with missiles results in 10 individual Tiamat procs.
Otherwise, it makes all her attacks deal AoE damage which again, is useful for waveclearing and sustain. This is pretty bonkers as it actually can compete with Runaan's Hurricane surprisingly enough, depending on what you're going for. It offers a lot more sustain and AoE damage in exchange for losing bolts that apply on-hit, as well as crit chance to increase Rageblade by another +40 damage.
Unfortunately the Cleave does not count as on-hit, but that doesn't really matter too much. The Omnivamp is the crazy part, as remember it heals from all damage including true damage, which Kraken Slayer offers in abundance.
Like Black Cleaver, it's yet another great item to add as an option, but doesn't quite fit in as a second rush item. The complicated part is figuring out when to get these and why to get them over other choices, because Kai'Sa simply just has a lot of good options. Ravenous Hydra can be a good solution if you're facing a lot of siege situations where your team is stuck in a waveclear war - the combination of AoE and great sustain is fantastic for such situations.
Nashor's Tooth, Wit's End, and why no W evolution?
I miss hybrid, but it's not gone completely. Nashor's Tooth has been reworked and now offers +100 AP immediately, so it will evolve her W in one go. It also now deals more on-hit damage immediately, at 40 magic damage on-hit with 100 AP. The reason people seem to dislike Nashor's Tooth now is that it doesn't offer CDR anymore - in addition, due to Rageblade's changes, item paths favour AD and physical damage more, whereas before you could go true hybrid by switching a lot of your damage to magic and synergizing with magic on-hit.
That all said, Nashor's Tooth isn't horrible. It still remains one of the most highest, if not highest gold efficient item (if you can use on-hit that is) at way above 100% efficiency. However, I've never had a chance to try it because games end way too quickly, but just as importantly is that armour pen / anti-armour options have opened up greatly, along with Grievous Wound options. Rageblade also encourages building crit chance items, and a lot of those items still work well with Kai'Sa. The result is that it's really hard to fit Nashor's Tooth in an early build, and if the game somehow goes long, it's competing against A LOT of other good options. The only thing I can think of is using it in an Eclipse "Korean Build" path, or just straight up forcing it by building it and hoping the loss of another item doesn't hurt too much.
W evolution is no longer really a necessity. It's pretty useful late game, but it is usually more efficient to ignore it due to competition with so many other items.
As with before Nashor's Tooth synergizes with Rageblade as it has an on-hit effect.
Wit's End has also been reworked and still works well with Kai'Sa. It now offers AD alongside a lot of attack speed and Magic Resistance, and sports a nifty new passive that just straight up gives you movement speed on-hit. The interesting thing about Wit's End is that it does way more damage than Nashor's Tooth does unless you build a lot of AP. Wit's End does more than 40 magic damage on-hit at level 8, and only keeps climbing to up to 80 damage on-hit at level 18. This isn't taking into account Kai'Sa's AP scalings on her abilities though, but in general it's pretty safe to assume Wit's End handily beats out Nashor's Tooth damage, though in poke wars having an evolved W may be more valuable. However, Wit's End might just be more valuable not only in damage, but because the fat stack of MR and movement speed can be more important when surviving fights.
The addition of AD makes Wit's End a potential second item, as it can help evolve Q and E by the time you get it. In fact I'd love to be able to try this out, but have yet to run into an enemy team that is heavily magic damage biased. Also, giving up the lifesteal from BorK is hard.
Hybrid certainly is an option in the late game, but like Nashor's Tooth, the issue is the competition for item slots with other good items. Rageblade is physical damage and scales with more critical strike chance items which means even more physical damage. With more armour penetration / anti-armour options opened up, as well as the need for Grievous Wounds, it usually just makes more sense to go for those items instead of adding magic damage on-hit.
As with before, Wit's End synergizes with Rageblade as it has an on-hit effect.
Defensive options: Zhonya's Hourglass, Mercurial Scimitar, Guardian Angel, Maw of Malmortius, Wit's End, etc.
In terms of defensive options, well, it doesn't get any simpler. Kai'Sa is fortunate enough to be able to use almost any item here. If avoiding getting caught or surviving initial onslaughts is a priority, I highly recommend either Mercurial Scimitar or Zhonya's Hourglass.
Zhonya's Hourglass doesn't provide enough AP to evolve W, but it's a solid defensive item that no other ADC can realistically go for. It's also at a pretty affordable 2500 gold cost. None of the stats go to waste, the item itself is more than 100% gold efficient without its active, and the active is often way better than Guardian Angel in my opinion. A fantastic buy against certain champs as well, such as Zed and Fizz.
Mercurial Scimitar has been reworked. A bit expensive at 2900 gold cost, but because it now provides crit chance it goes well with Rageblade. A solid defensive item if avoiding specific spells or CC is the difference between victory and defeat. Definitely grab this when against champs like Rammus, Mordekaiser, Skarner, Malzahar, Warwick, Urgot, etc. Nullifies a lot of their powerful effects.
Guardian Angel is mediocre to me. It has poor gold efficiency so it is assumed a lot of the gold cost is going to its revive passive. The revive passive is good don't get me wrong, but you could do a lot better with Zhonya's or Mercurial, both of which have lower cooldowns and are far more practical in most situations.
Maw of Malmortius is a potential option if magic damage troubles you. However, Wit's End also provides +50 MR, and it has better synergy with Kai'Sa so it's usually the better option. The big difference however is that Maw provides a magic shield when you get low on health. Sometimes having more defense is better than having even more damage, though if I'm worried about dying I'd rather opt for Zhonya's or Mercurial.

What about other item paths?

So we're almost at the character limit and there's still many more items and builds I have not covered. That's how insane this season is. Below are some of my thoughts on some other paths:
Tear / Manamune
Tear has been reworked heavily. It's now a starting item and stacking it requires far more effort. Also, mana in general is harder to access thanks to item and rune reworks.
The result is that a Tear start for Kai'Sa feels terrible. It takes forever to stack due to requiring targets to spam abilities on, and you need to consistently hit enemy champions to even stack it fast enough. Unlike Ezreal, spamming Kai'Sa Q just causes problems by constantly pushing waves and leaving yourself in a bad spot, not to mention mana problems.
The other consequence is that with a lot less mana in the game, Manamune just feels bad on Kai'Sa. Granted, it has potential - an on-hit build with Manamune can actually deal more damage than other builds. However, it is simply not practical. A Tear start makes you incredibly weak early game, effectively handicapping yourself from the get-go. You don't need this as Kai'Sa's early game is the biggest hurdle right now.
In addition, games are ending faster, so taking forever to get an effective item is really bad as games tend to end by the time you stack it properly.
You could potentially ignore Tear start and stack Manamune later, but again you run into the same problem of investing a lot into an item that just simply doesn't help until it's too late.
Eclipse "Korean Build"
Eclipse is an assassin tailored Mythic item that has emerged as a possible item choice for Kai'Sa. It still gives enough AD to evolve Q eventually, and its effects can work with Kai'Sa. The synergy is a bit off, as the item is tailored more for hit and run assassins rather than trying to attack someone multiple times. Still, a shield and movement speed when going for the kill is nice. The biggest contribution that makes it potentially good on Kai'Sa is Lethality - it gives you a bunch of upfront Lethality, and any Legendary items made later grants more % armour penetration.
It does not scale as well as Kraken Slayer, as although it does deal % max health damage, the cooldown is lengthy. However, this build (coined "Korean build") has potential for early game dominance due to its sudden surge of Lethality given on completion. This can be game winning if you know how to close out the game early. As such, it may find popularity among high level players who know how to end a game early, before tanks and teamfights threaten victory.
The issue I've had with this is that in games where I get ahead early (say, 4 kills early on), Kraken Slayer can get you just as far ahead but still be useful if the game goes longer than expected. This is due to the fast evolutions Kraken Slayer gives, as for example Kraken + Doran's Blade + Pickaxe evolves Q as soon as level 6, whereas Eclipse needs level 9 with D-Blade and Pickaxe. This is not a big deal if you get items at standard time, as most of the time you're already level 10 or 11 by the time you have two big items. But in cases where you find yourself with a lot of gold quickly, the power spike of a faster Q evolve often is crazy when combined with Kraken and Hail of Blades.
Then again, Eclipse costs 200 less gold and with the right team comp, you can assassinate people quickly enough that the Q evolve is irrelevant.
Basically, in my opinion it has potential, but the average player will find it easier to snowball with Kraken Slayer. It's a far safer option in case the game does not end quickly. At higher levels of play where you can trust your team to end the game quickly though, this is appealing.
In addition, the Eclipse path offers some tantalizing hybrid damage and full evolutions, which is pretty nifty.
The idea is to go Eclipse+Pickaxe+Doran's Blade to upgrade Q at level 9, then build towards Nashor's Tooth to evolve W and E when you also have Berserker Greaves. Later items depends on situation, as you can turn the Pickaxe into items like BorK, Runaan's Hurricane, or Ravenous Hydra, and build Zhonya's Hourglass for defense, outplay potential, and more AP. If the game is still not over you can build whatever is needed, with Rageblade or even Rabaddon's Deathcap as options.
With the snowballing lead with early Lethality, you hope to be able to roam with your team to make more pick offs, win objectives, and force the game to a fast victory. The interesting thing to note is that the DPS of this build remains competitive with Kraken for quite a while, unless against tanky foes.
It's a high risk high reward path. If you're confident you and your team know how to end games quickly, you can easily go ham with a snowballing lead and just assassinate people left and right. It doesn't scale as well against tanks like Kraken Slayer does, and you don't get additional attack speed either. Fantastic against squishy teams, but even if there is a tank you end up with armour penetration and magic damage. Yay hybrid damage!
Traditional Crit builds
Traditional means ignoring Rageblade and building items that characters like Caitlyn would. As I mentioned everything is in favour of on-hit right now for Kai'Sa. Traditional crit is lacking comparatively, especially with Infinity Edge being mediocre right now. Not to mention Kai'Sa stastically scales better with on-hit over critical strikes (less base AD = less effective crits). I highly recommend skipping traditional builds and joining this item diversity frenzy. She just has better options right now.

Conclusion:

Season 11 is just insane for Kai'Sa. As you may have noticed, there's even more items I never even talked about, such as the many other critical strike items. The list of "minor" deviations with my own item path is already staggering, and it only gets more complicated from there.
Normally my guides contain gameplay tips but we're at the character limit here. Just discussing item builds has been an insane amount of effort, so this time I don't think I can cover gameplay advice.
