DS3 PS4 I'm able to play online without playstation plus, can anyone explain? So I got on this game the first time and wandered around a while getting used to the new mechanics and stuff. I haven't had playstation plus in months so I didn't really bother noticing that I was online and could read messages and see bloodstains and ghosts. It's worth noting that some free-to-play titles will allow you to play without a PlayStation Plus account. Additionally, if someone in a PS4 owning household is a PlayStation Plus member, everyone... You don't need to be online to use the Sony PlayStation 4, but it helps. This is what you can do when you don't have an Internet connection. Something weird is happening. I can magically play online without PS PLUS and I'm sure as hell that I don't have a PS PLUS subscription. I mean, I used the free 14 days trial and then the 2 free days and that's all. Also, I can't access to PS PLUS discounts. Does anybody happen to know why or how the hell is this happening? While PlayStation Plus is usually a requirement to play online multiplayer, there are notable exceptions to this rule. Most free-to-play games allow people to enjoy online multiplayer matches... The PS4 does require PlayStation Plus to play online. That being said, it's not the all-encompassing kind of requirement that Xbox Live tends to impose. You'll still be able to get all of your updates and DLC without a Plus membership. Furthermore, you'll be able to use your Netflix, Amazon Video, and your others apps without interruption.
